Hopeless Death

By:  Karamy Ford

A pool of blood
begins to flood

around my body,
The fire inside me

stops burning
no longer glowing

As I lie
waiting to die

I'm losing my sight
I can't fight

should I cry?
why?

Noone will hear
I'm engulfed in fear

Please hold on to me, tight
and take away my fright

For soon, it will be too late
and I will fade

then it will be much worse
because I'll be nothing but a corpse

I thought I was bold
but now I feel so cold

Everything is turning black
just my luck

It's time for goodbye,
now I can fly...
